 |
The Parallel Shaft Index Drives (U.I.P.) transmit the movement by means of the two copled flat cams mounted on the input shaft. At any time of the movement, there is always one follower in contact with the cam and another one in contact with the countercam, one of the followers being above the centre line and the other one under it, so as to make assembly with preload between shafts and no backlash at output shaft possible.
The followers are mounted on the turret shaft with double support, which makes high stiffness and good mechanical performances together with reduced external dimensions possible.
The design system used makes it possible to build index drives by combining many different numbers of stops, angles of oscillation, acceleration curves as well as angles of transfer and dwell.
The index drives are supplied with all the faces machined and anchoring holes drilled from factory, allowing for assembly of the unit on nay face.
In addition, it is possible to supply, on request, motorized index drives with special shafts, torque limiters as protection of the mechanism, etc. In this way, our
Customer is supplied with versatile products matching his own requirements. |
